SharkNinja Recalls 1.8 Million Foodi Multi-Function Pressure Cookers Due to Burn Hazard; Serious Burn Injuries Reported
This recall involves all Ninja Foodi OP300 Series Multi-Function Pressure Cookers. The cookers have functions that include pressure cooking and air frying. They were sold in black and have a 6.5-quart capacity. "Ninja" is printed on the front of each unit and on the product label. Model numbers OP300, OP301, OP301A, OP302, OP302BRN, OP302HCN, OP302HAQ, OP302HW, OP302HB, OP305, OP305CO and OP350CO are included in this recall and are printed on a label on the side of the cooker. An additional code following the model number is not part of that model designation. For example, a unit labeled "OP301 I07" is a model OP301 unit. Any OP300 series replacement pressure cooker lids purchased as an additional part are also included in this recall.

This recall involves 12 models of Ninja professional blenders with model numbers that start with BL 660, BL 663 or BL 665. The model number is in the rating label that is molded into the bottom of the motor base. The 12 affected model numbers are: BL 660's: BL660, BL660B, BL660C, BL660QCN, BL660QPL, BL660W, BL660WM BL 663's: BL663, BL663CO BL 665's: BL665QBK, BL665QCN, and BL665QWH All of these models have a clear 72-ounce pitcher with a removable gray or black lid that opens and locks closed, a stacked blade assembly, and one or more Nutri Ninja cups. All recalled models have a motor base that is gray, white, black, cinnamon, or platinum. The power of the models' motors varies from 1,000 to 1,200 watts. The recalled models may have been sold with additional accessories, including a 40- or 64-ounce bowl, a chopping blade assembly, or a dull dough blade assembly.

Power Wheels Ride-On Battery-Powered Vehicles Recall to Repair NEWS from CPSC U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Office of Information and Public Affairs Washington, DC 20207 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 22, 1998 Release # 99-012 Company Phone Number: (800) 977-7800 CPSC Consumer Hotline: (800) 638-2772 CPSC Media Contact: Nychelle Fleming, (301) 504-7063 CPSC, Fisher-Price Announce Recall to Repair Power Wheels Ride-On Battery-Powered Vehicles WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Fisher-Price, of East Aurora, N.Y., is conducting a voluntary recall involving up to 10 million battery-powered Power Wheels ride-on cars and trucks. The vehicles' electrical components can overheat and cause fires. Children can suffer injuries from fires and house fires can occur. Additionally, wiring problems can prevent the vehicles from stopping. CPSC and Fisher-Price have received approximately 700 reports of electrical components failing and overheating while the cars and trucks were being ridden, charged, parked or stored. About 150 fires have been reported. Nine children suffered minor burns to the hands, legs, or feet; and up to $300,000 in property damage to 22 houses and garages have been reported. There have also been 71 reports of vehicles not stopping. Six children suffered bruises, scratches or bumps when their vehicles hit a car, truck, pole, window or fence. Power Wheels Service Centers will repair the vehicles. These service centers will install the new parts free of charge and give all recalled vehicles a free safety check-up and tune-up. The recalled Power Wheels cars and trucks have been sold under nearly 100 model names. The Power Wheels logo and the model name are on each vehicle. All models with two batteries are recalled, and certain models with one battery are recalled. The company will help consumers identify if their model is part of the recall. Power Wheels cars and trucks are intended for children 2 to 7 years old, and the vehicles' speed ranges from 1 to 5 mph, depending on the model. Toy and mass merchandise stores nationwide sold the cars and trucks since 1984 for about $70 to $300. Consumers should remove the vehicles' batteries right away and not let children use these Power Wheels vehicles until the repair has been made at the service center. To schedule the repair, consumers should call Power Wheels at (800) 977-7800 anytime. Again, the company will help consumers identify if their vehicles are part of the recall. Power Wheels sold after October 1998 are not involved in this recall. CPSC, Ace Novelty Urge Consumers To Remove Strap From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Chairs
November 14, 1995 Release # 96-017 WASHINGTON, D.C.- CPSC, Ace Novelty of Bellevue, Wash., is instructing consumers to remove the strap on 69,100 "Teenage Mutant Ninja" foam chairs. Children can become entangled and strangle in the strap.CPSC is aware of four incidents in which the children ranging between two and four years old were caught under the bandanna-style strap. No injuries were reported and no medical attention was required.The chairs, measuring 2 feet high by 14 inches wide, were part of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja" series, which features a variety of products based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon characters. Each of the green plush chairs features a yellow seat and a Ninja Turtle head as a backrest. The chairs were sold in four styles, all with model number 28021:"Raphael," "Leonardo," "Michelangelo," and "Donitello." Each chair has a red bandanna around the backrest, red mesh wrist straps on the arms, and a red "R," "L," "M," or "D" in a black stripe along the bottom of the chair.Toy stores and department stores sold the 69,100 "Teenage Mutant Ninja " chairs nationwide from January 1990 through April 1991 for approximately $19.Consumers should immediately cut the bandanna-style strap from the chairs and discard the strap. Consumers who have questions about this corrective action should contact Ms. McCoy at Ace Novelty at (800) 759-1223 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST
